Hi Julie,
It has been nearly 2 years since we connected at the IAM conference in New York and shared esperiences that were memorable and life changing. May God continue to bless your work and your testimony!
Hi! You may remember me, do you remember coming to monroe community church that monday night to speak for our art group? And when i first met you at Apols pond place? ^_^ if not, no prob... I still love your work, and i was so happy to find you on here! ttyl!
You thought this was a bad hair day? Actually, it's not really even a photo of myself. :) It's a photo of an aye-aye, a nearly-extinct, nocturnal, arboreal primate from Madagascar. I find something amazing about rare animals...like, did you know that they just discovered a new kind of dolphin near Australia?
Yes. You did, do and will continue to. :)
To use a food analogy, your art pairs nicely with your words. I think it will help the seminary students see the value in using art to encounter God. For myself, I easily sense the presence and mystery of God in your work. To me they seem like portraits of prayers.
Julie,
I've come to some meetings before and I was thinking of making the trip this fall for a meeting. I'm about 3 1/2 hours north. I would love to meet. I live in Gaylord Mi. I think I'll come down for the september meeting.

I am the director of the visual arts gallery at Bella Vista Church in Rockford. Would any of your paintings be available for exhibit?
